There are no set rules for the stages of grief. Each person is unique and will handle grief in their own way. Do not judge yourself or others on the way someone processes grief. Some people will cry, others will choose to ignore it, some will go into a depression, and others will let guilt consume them.
I’ve endured many tragic losses and each one has been equally devastating. Grief is a healing process, and you learn to cope with the grief. The loss will always be a part of you, but you do move forward and your life becomes a new normal. .
I realize that I am grateful to have known you, even if it was only for a moment then not at all. The memory of you will always be with me in body, mind, and soul.
